I was very pleased with how this cake came out. I got if from a book by Lindy Smith. It is all edible even the whiskers. It reminds me of the cat in the Disney movie "Aristocats".
It DOES look like Duchess! I love that movie and I love this cake! SOO cute! My friend would just die if she saw this (she adores cats, she has 5!). :D
stepOnmi, I don't mind as long as Lindy Smith doesn't mind. I got it from a book of hers titled, "Party Animal Cakes". mariafun, yes it is fondant (to be exact it's "FondX". Very easy to used too. Even the whiskers are fondx. I used a clay extractor (still saving for a "sugarcraft gun", in the meantime the clay extractor will do. :D ) Thank you all for your comments.
This cake is so cute, I love the heart shape nose.
