Leprechauns Play Day
critique subgroup member: white cake covered in mmf with mmf figurines, pot of gold. I had a lot of fun making this one- I didn't care too much for using the cake board I did, but that was all I had to work with. Thanks for looking!

Critique subgroup member: You know Sylly your modeling skills are superb! And the whole composition is fun. You already mentioned the board so I won't go there.....but the hat brim could have used some work. I think I would have used a 1/2" drum cake board on top of the yellow cake board and cover entirely in fondant to get the right proportion and thickness. And I don't know if I mentioned before that you have a very strong primary color palette. Your cakes are bright and cheerful! Lovely job.

Critique group member: Oh my gosh this is so cute! Love it! The one thing did notice though is it looks like the green from the hat bled into the gold buckle.

critique subgroup member: think I say this with every cake you do.... your fondant and modelling skills are amazing!!! the only thing that stand out for me is the buckle on the hat. The black on the buckle is bigger than the the black ribbon around the hat, on a real buckle they would be the same size, like a belt through pants. (hope that made sense???)

critique subgroup member: too cute! i love the little leprechauns, they have great personality! i am not a big fan of the border at the bottom of the hat, but i think without it, it would look funny. i wish i had an alternate suggestion...
