I made this for my parents' 28th anniversary a while back... I baked a round cake, then, using a square bowl as a template, cut out the top "tier". Then I put the bowl in the hole of the bottom cake and set the cut out on top. I covered it all in one piece of fondant, which is a pain, but it came out okay! All the designs and the numbers are red colored white chocolate.
