This cake was for our son's 6th birthday. We had seen some examples of vertical R2D2 cakes online and decided to give it a try. We used 4- 6" cakes for the body and half a ball pan for the head. The 'legs' were cut out of a 9x 13 cake. We used some skewers to attach the 'legs'. Fortunately we only had to transport this one from the kitchen to the dining room!
