critique group member: Your carving is excellent and the fondant work looks great. I'm not sure if I like how the chocolates are pressed into the fondant. I think it might look better (to me anyway) if the chocolates were in little cups (like they are in real boxes of chocolate) before being pressed in. This would help with the spacing too...it looks a little too random to me. maybe that's the pic. angle though. Your roses are very nice and overall this is a great Valentine's Day cake.

Critique Subgroup Member: An open box of valentine chocolates was my very first cake! What I wished afterwords is that I made my own candies or "Cake Balls" more likely. This is pretty. Your roses are lovely and your red is wonderful. I don't get the cake board, am I missing something? A tiny bit more white/pink in the design for the flowers to offset the flowers, your red one disappears too, maybe place ontop the other two. But overall this is a very pretty cake!!!!
