Bright Blue Hydrangea
Hi sugar friends! I loved how this cake turned out, probably because I love blue hydrangea! The teeny tiny choc. pearls accented the monogram so well. This has my choc. fondant on it. Questions? Please e-mail: [email protected] Thanks for peeking! Jennifer Dontz - Traveling Sugar Art Teacher

Another flawless design Jennifer -- your work is amazing!! :D
Oh Jen, another masterpiece. It's gorgeous.
The pillowy look is achieved by using a three diamond quilter. If you want more info on the quilter, please e-mail me: [email protected] It is VERY easy to use, you just press it into the fondant, rock ONCE to the left and ONCE to the right on a rd. cake , using mild pressure to imprint the design into the cake. For sqaures you just press it in. Then I go over that with a stitch wheel. I do a normal layer of icing, then a VERY thin layer of choc. fondant, I think this combination "puffs" the design

This combination of icing/fondant puffs the diamonds out just like a quilted jacket!!!!
kmk - I like to use clear piping gel to stick the tiny pearls on, it doesn't show and works great!
You work is just so beautiful!! I just love the simplicity and elegance of this cake. I was wondering, what do you use to make the diamond impression, a impression mat or something else? Just worndering how you make it POP out so much!
