Tools Birthday Cake
Made for my son's birthday. He's been taking things apart an putting them back together since he was a toddler. Chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, fondant "metal" patches and "screws", molded chocolate tools and letters. Luster dust to give a metalic look. Not the prettiest cake that I've ever made, but he's happy!

Thanks. I posted the picture here so I could show it to my oldest son that lives on the other side of the state. I'm sure it would have looked more realistic if I had used white buttercream frosting tinted to look silver, but he wanted chocolate frosting. :roll:
