Mini Cakes - A Selection
I have a friend getting married next year and I am trying some different ideas for her to think about. I have done a selection of decorations, all in fondant with hand made blossoms and hand panted scrolls. I am finding it hard moulding the fondant to the mini cake, I have a lot of fondant bunching up at the bottom and pleting. Just have to keep practising!! keep practising!

try placing the cakes on a base that is smaller in diameter...that way, the the fondant falls below the bottom of the cakes
Hi all, thanks for the lovely feedback. I used Silverwood mini round cake pan set in 2 inch diameter. Thanks for the great tip Staceyboots. I will try that for the next round of practice cakes! :D
