Beautiful cake. Don't we all have those problems, no matter how perfect you do it, it still gives you surprizes at the end. Oh well we all get over fast. :cry: :lol:

thanks ya'll! HUGE blow out. I had to carve that whole section of icing out, fill with Bc and try to patch with a fondnat panel ( were NOT pretty). I turned the bow around and made the fron the back. THEN the NEW drums I just bough absorbed grease like a paper towel. WTF? They will be getting a call from me Monday.

I just need to know your secret for such awesomely (is that even a word? :? ) smooth buttercream!!!

I am the only one that doesn't understand blowing out! Why or what makes it blow? Thanks

Sorry about the blowout, but the cake is still beautiful. The side is so smooth (as all your cakes), the lid flawless as is the bow. Wish I had your touch for just the right amount of detailing . God Bless, Sharon
