Critique subgroup member: as always, your cake is impressive. I love that you create such a wide variety of images. I thkn maybe the star could have been a little more centered if the bottom logo's were dropped down slightly. Your logos are amazing!

Thanks everyone for your critique on theis cake. Just an FYI the star was directly in the center of the cake and everything was measured out so the crowded look is from the photo position. Sorry.

Critique group member: Very nice! All the logos look perfect! I agre that it could use more color also the sides seem kind of stark being white with no design.

Critique subgroup member: I really love how simple this looks yet it captures all the boy's favorites. The only thing that I can see that could be a tad improved is the shell border. Have more of a taper to the shells before beginning the next shell. I hope that made sense.

Critique subgroup member: Another great layout and use of the whole cake. You make the best boards! Your spider is perfect - looks like the cutout overlays required much precision (love the transformer). Batman and Superman logo lines could be cleaned up a little. Your piping is perfect (as always!) and I like that you used yellow - sets the cake off nicely. I just love your work - thanks for starting this subgroup.

critique subgroup member: Great cake! Great idea! nice way to incorporate so many ideas without becoming busy! great shell border! The only thing that hits me, and of course this probably is just me, is that I seem to be searching for one more color to break all the red and yellow, maybe to have added some blue behind the superman??? again may just be me

Critique group member: I think you did a great job incorporating all the super heroes.A dream cake for a three year old boy!! Fondant is perfectly smooth. Some of the cutouts could be a little cleaner...specifically Superman and Batman. I'm not sure about the white cake board...it may be too much white.

critique group member: Your fondant is always so smooth. I agree with practice about a little more color...either on the cake itself or on the board. This is probably the angle, but the two bottom cutouts look too close to the star...or the top ones are too far away? Again, probably just the picture. I like the letters and their placement. I am sure this was one thrilled 3 year old!
