Rich fruit brandied Christmas Cake covered in marzipan and sugarpaste. Figures made of sugarpaste, hut and buildings made of mexican paste. All edible. Inspired by Karen Davies.
Tks for all your comments. yes the border is all freehand except for the palm tree leaves. The buildings were cut with square cutters and embossed with smaller square cutters. For the palm trees, I used the end of a fern tree leaf cutter and joined 4 or 5 together. Grass was all freehand even the minarets. Blue border was 4cm high.
omg 8O this is so perfect your work is so clean and neat are the decorations on the border freehand? :D
