I made this cake for my son's 4th birthday party. It was with the Diego Cake pan with Max's blondish hair, his favorite red shirt and his black shoes. I used a Red Velvet Cake Recipe that was really good - first time I'd ever used it. The theme of the party was "Red". Red tablecloth, red napkins, plates, punch, cake, balloons, wrapping, etc.... At first he was a little upset because it wasn't exactly Diego but once it was done, he couldn't wait to show off his "Max" cake to everyone.
