Thanksgiving Table
First, thank you to everyone who inspired this design! I made this cake for my husband's "Day or Perpetual Eating" at work. :) Carved 15x11, covered in MMF, with fondant details.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my god, this is incredible. Love the details. What did you use on the turkey to make it look so real? I made a fall cake covered with leaves and turkey in the center but mine isn't as pretty as yours. Have trying to upload it to the site but keep getting an error message which you could see it would love your comments
MARIATAMIA - Thank you, and I hope you get your uploaded - I'd love to see it! (Maybe the file is just too big? :? ) I just used light brown fondant for the turkey, and then painted it with about three coats of watered down brown piping gel. I did the same for the gravy and bread, but I smeared a tiny tiny bit of dark brown fondant over the bread first, and painted it with only one coat.
