Carousel Cake For A 1St Birthday
this is a cake i made for a friend of my aunties for their twins 1st birthday. they saw a cake i made for my auntie and wanted me to make them one. there is allot of hours in this cake all decorations are fondant. they loved the cake but we didnt discuss pricing, i got $50 for it. i feel like i was underpaid but ive only done a handful of cakes in my life so im not perfect and i have no idea what the going rate is i took a lot of inspiration form other peoples work so i thank them for posting their photos

That does look like a lot of work, I'm not sure what $50US is in NZ dollars but it doesn't sound like a lot. Still, if its one of your first you will build an idea of what to charge. You have made a great job of this, very professional.

FIRST OF ALL YOU SHOULD HAVE BEING PAID AT LEAST 150-200.00 WORKING WITH FOUNDANT THEN THE LITTLE FIGURINES THEN ADD THE DIFFERENT COLORS HELLO THERE IS A REAL PROBLEMS THEY PAID YOU TO MUCH AND THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF YOU THAT IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL SHAME ON THEM THE FIRST TIME SHAME ON YOU THE SECOND TO YOU LIVE AND YOU LEARN.
