I made this cake for my father whose store was celebrating its 6th year anniversary. He coincidentally is getting a book published. I made his book on top (a bird book) and made a popular bird book on the bottom. About five people at the party tried to pick up the cakes thinking they were real books! A great compliment I thought! I used food coloring markers and did all the lettering and pictures by hand.
