Johnny's Car Cake
This is a picture of a car birthday cake that I made for my nephew. The cake is a butter flavored cake with buttercream icing. The mountain is made out of three cupcakes that I put together using buttercream. I didn't make the car, but I thought it added a nice touch to the cake. Any opinions and constructive criticism is always welcomed.
You did such a great job!! The mountain is perfect. How did you make the road?
I took Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge icing, and I added my black coloring. It didn't take much to achieve the color I wanted. I took a toothpick and traced the path I wanted my car to take. Then I used my spatula to spread the icing down the path. I used my grass to tidy up the border. Then I used some of the white buttercream and yellow colored buttercream to do the lines.
