1/2 sheet french vanilla football field with strawberry filling. Helmet carved of chocolate cake sports ball pan with chocolate icing covered in black fondant. Face guard had wire inside for stability. The football was carrot cake which I pressed little football texture like divots into the fondant. The best part is I got to make it for a party for a 40-something young man named Bob who has less than 1 month to live. He has brain cancer. I am honored to have given him joy! Happy Birthday!
