Wedding Dress Bridal Shower Cake
I go the inspiration for this cake here at CC. This was for a girl at work that we had a shower for. Cake was vanilla with white chocolate mousse filling and sliced strawberry, kiwi, and pineapple. Covered in buttercream, dress plaque was FBCT, other decorations were fondant. The cake itself was so tasty that I was asked by 5 other people at work to make it for them (undecorated) just to take home for thier families!
I don't like orange either, but believe it or not that was the brides colors......orange, gold and ivory. I didn't have gold so I was left with orange and ivory. I'v only been decorating for about 6 months and I'm learning alot as I go. I hear I can get gold dust? I may have to check this out because people have asked me to do silver and gold accents and I always thought it would have to be golden yellow or grey with regular icing???
This is going in my favorites! I love the color! I love the flowers! I love, love, love the dress plaque! Great job!
I'm not a huge fan of orange personally but I really like it here, it works really well on your cake, very nice!
