Baby Blocks And Booties

One of my first attempts at working with gumpaste. The pieces came out ok, but I wish I had time to add more to the cake, it seemed a little plain. Cake was 1/2 chocolate fudge 1/2 vanilla with chocolate marquis mousse filling.

I think that cake was very pretty however to make it stand out you could of done the border blue and yellow to make it stand out more just a sugestions for anyother cakes. but it still lokes very nice.

The blocks were done in gumpaste. I cut out all the squares, let them dry and glued them together with royal icing. I decorated them using royal icing and very carefully put them on the cake. They were pretty easy,
