Boxing Night
This was a cake for a charity boxing night - gloves were carved in white chocolate cake, the base was a dummy cake. All done in fondant and painted. Sooo many issues doing this cake I am pleased it turned out as good as it did. Believe it or not the gloves were the easiest part!
Thanks for the comments! I had to redo the gloves 3 times b4 I was happy with them, then I spattered red coloring on the white while I was painting the gloves, so I made the drape to cover that. Also, when covering the base it MOVED so the fondant did not go on centered and I had to stretch and patch one side :x But it wasn't bad to the "untrained" eye LOL! :lol:
