The cake itself is a vanilla cake soaked with frangelico liqueur. I made the frosting with almond and orange extract.These extracts together tend to make the frosting less sweet and smell is delicious.All the flowers and the butterflies were made out of fondent.I painted little happy faces on every flower with a black edible marker.
What do I love about this cake? The doll on top reminds me of my favorite doll when I was little. They were called little kiddles.
