The acorns caps were piped in dark brown using a #10 tip. The rest of the acorn was piped using a parchment cone striped with dark brown food color and filled with ligh brown butter cream using a # 10 tip. Hope that makes sense
I piped the general shape of the horn with a large tube, to provide a base shape. I overpiped the shape with basket weave technique starting at the large opening side and ending at the tip. I finished the edge around the opening of the horn with rope technique. Thanks for the question and the kind comments.
