Jasmine
Against my better judgement I let the client transport this cake. By the time I got to the hall there were tiny cracks in buttercream and some of the piped outline had been smashed. I covered the damages with fondant hearts. The cake was 4.5" long, all buttercream frosting. This was for Jasmines 12th birthday.
wow ! love it ..very pretty
very nice.. very unique .. I'm in aw of this huge beautiful cake.. great work.
That is reaslly neat...how many cakes did it take to accomplish this?
thanks for compliments! dessertdiva, it took 4 half sheet cake. the "J" was one cake, 2 letters per each other cake.
Very neat idea! Good job.
That is really cool ;-D How did you do the letters?
Great Job!
Jibbies- I made a template to determine how many cakes to make then used it to cutout the letters. Once I had the overall shape I frosted it all as one piece and airbrushed the color on. I freehanded the letters. I dont know how they came out so well but they did. Ask me if I could've drawn this on paper  .
8O WOW! That's a great cake. I love the heart in the "m." Did you have a specific font or freehand it?
This is such a great cake for a 12yr old! Really fantastic idea and lovely job-very girly!
 Saw your comment just above mine, about the template and freehanding the letters... Sorry for the double question.
Oh, my gosh! You did an amazing job on what looks like a huge undertaking!!
