Flower Basket
I made this for my sister's birthday a few days ago. I had problems with the buttercream...it was too soft and wouldn't do what I wanted it to. My sister loved it and said it was beautiful. Its an 8" vanilla cake with orange buttercream. All the flowers are MMF. I made the handle from wire,straws and ribbon.
:D Beautiful! I wanted to do a handle on a cake the other day and couldn't figure out how to make it. i'll have to try your idea next time! :)
thankyou Cakegirl20...it was real easy,I twisted 2 pipe cleaners together then pushed a straw at both ends meeting in the middle. That way only the straws go into the cake,not the wire Then add the ribbon :)
