Well, my hubby and best friend decided to throw me a surprise party for my 30th birthday thhis last week and somehow managed to get me to make my own cake! They had a neighbor order a cake from me in my favorite flavor and color scheme and then had a note on the neighbors door to deliver it to my friends house since they had to step out. Well when I entered my friends house I was delivering the cake to my own party. I was soo surprised! The cake was iced in buttercream and had purple royal icing flowers.
