THIS WAS FOR A LOCAL BOOK CLUB THAT WAS READING MARY HIGGINS CLARK'S "NO PLACE LIKE HOME". ( SINCE THE MAIN CHARACTER IN THE BOOK WAS COMPARED TO LIZZIE BORDEN, I ADDED A DEEP RED RASBERRY FILLING TO THE CAKE FOR"FUN" )

Thanks! :D The "cover" was made of BLACK FONDANT :twisted: ( I always have to remind partygoers that any "BLACK" icing will "haunt" you for the rest of the day...unless you carry a toothbrush with you! )
This cake is great! What a great idea for a book club! I'll have to "pitch" the idea to our local book store when they have authors in town for book signings!
