Cessna Airplane on Cake Central

Done for a friend's uncle's 50th birthday. I was told he owned a Cessna 206 and loved flying it. I was given carte blanche as to the design. I had so much fun doing the pirate ship for her son I decided I would try to do the airplane 3-D. I had a little trouble with scale and didn't jack it up high enough for the wheels so I had to leave off the front one. I wanted everything edible but I had to cheat on the wing because I broke two and had to cover a piece of cardboard or have a wingless plane. I

WOW...you should apply with Ace of Cakes...and don't worry about the wings. That's what Jeff used was cardboard covered in fondant. :)

Looks great! You really captured the plane. Nice the way you propped it up (at all, even if it turned out not to be as high as was practical for the front wheel).
