Did this for a baby shower, but they were doing an afternoon tea for the shower instead of the norm. shower. I covered the whole cake in fondant. 10" sq. and ball pan with a 6 in. rd in the midd. of it for the teapot. Accessories made from gumpaste, TFL.
Wow this is so pretty!!! I like the entire design! Beautiful!!!!
that is extremely pretty and so well done...I love this sooo much!!!
Stunning, going into my favs. My mom collects teapots, great inspiration for cake in the future. :) :)
Just beautiful!!
Very nice. :)
I love all the details like the tiny butterflies.
amazing! wow! the best teapot cake i have seen!
one of my new favs.. Very pretty... ;-D
I love the details down to the look of a hem on the tablecloth.
Thank you for the cake dimensions....beautiful cake. Are the butterflies cut with cookie cutter? and how did you get the wings to stand up?
This is stunning. The butteflies are precious.
Exquisite - going in my list of favs!
Is the teapot solid or just a shell? Our church has a tea every year and this would make a great centerpiece! Love it!
This is beautiful...every part of it!! A must for faves!!!
I LOVE IT! Great job. Going into favs - daughter collects tea sets - would be prefect!
Beautiful!
This is just stunning. It is perfect and absolutely beautiful. It looks like it came from a very high end bakery. :D
This is awesome!! :D
thank you so much for commenting :D Stampinron, the butterflies are cut using a cookie cutter and then I fold a piece of paper kind of as a fan fold and then I take each butterfly and using an exacto knife but not pressing hard push down a bit in the center where the wings meet and then close the wings together a bit before I put them in the folds of the paper.
sorry, missed one other comment, the teapot is cake covered in fondant.
that means alot, thanks
Just perfect!!!
