This was a 'play' piece for me. I'd bought the patchwork cutters, I used for the side designs, & wanted to do something with them. Plus I'd never made a shoe before & really wanted to. So I decided to combine the two & came up with this.
Thanks for the wonderfull comments. These cutters came from a Patchwork Cutter set called SHOES-BAGS-CONFETTI. I cut them out of flower paste ( gum paste) & left them to dry so they were easier to handle & then just stuck them on the sides with sugar glue. Nice! I want to do some kind of a shoe cake sometime...I work at a shoe store. But I dont have near the skill to make something like yours!
