Butterflies & Roses

Wedding cake done this weekend. The bride gave me a picture of the cake she wanted and this was it. I just loved the cake and was very happy to do it. The bottom layer was French Vanilla with raspberry mousse filling, the top two layers were both German Chocolate... one with pecan praline filling and the other white chocolate. All layers were iced in BC and overlayed with fondant. Flower, pearls, butterflies, and leaves are gumpaste/fondant. This cake was a joy to do!! I hope you enjoy looking.

When we love what we are doing it sure does show in the final outcome - this is stunning. Very nice job. Congrats. :wink:

Thank you for your comments. The butterfly was made with gumpaste and pressed into a cutter. I then used colored pens to color and piping gel for the shine.
