I put 2 sticks of unsalted butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Once melted, I added 2 tsp of almond extract, 2 tbsp whipping cream, 2 tbsp 2% milk, and about 2 tbsp water. Stir that up and add about 3/4 of a 2 lb bag of powdered sugar. If it's still too thick, add a bit more water. I keep this mixture over low heat the entire time I'm spooning it over each cake. That's it. It's very tasty! Although it doesn't set up really hard, so I keep them in the refrigerator. I'll have to work on...
