chocolate cake covered in mmf with Pittsburgh Penguins mascot Iceburgh made out of rice krispie treats with fondant on top. Hockey stick and puck also fondant.
there was no REAL skeleton.......I made the entire body shape with the shoulders, half the arms (bicep part) and the legs out of one big lump of r.k. and the head was separate and I just stuck a skewer through the head into the body and then put a dowel in each leg that stuck out about four inches from the bottoms of his feet just so it would stand up nicely in the cake......other than that there was nothing structurally holding it except the r.k. treats
really cute
That is so cute! What kind of "skeleton" did you use to support the rice Krispie treats?
