Snoopy And The Red Barron
This was for my nephew's first birthday. Snoopy is made out of rice crispy treats covers in 50/50 fondant and gumpaste. The airplane is covedred in fondant.

Thanks for your comments :D I used a thick board and cut out a long oval shape and placed my cake on top of it. I then carved around the oval board to get the plane shape. I stuck a styrofoam cup at the end and stuck the flaps on the cup with toothpicks and coveried it all in fondant. The wings were made out of gumpaste on top of thin board and the bottom wing was connected to the oval board using toothpicks. The top wing was connected using the sticks. I then glued a coke cap to the bottom of the cake
and used it to place the legs of the plane so it would stand up. All of the cake was first covered in fondant before I tried to stand it up on the cake. Hope the info helps
