Beach Themed Wedding Cake

I made this cake for my mom's wedding today. It's a white almond sour cream cake with strawberry filling and cream cheese frosting.

I love the topper with the oyster shell and huge pearl. You did a super job and I like that it is monochromatic. If these shells were all different colors, it would be over the top. But as is it is just right.

Beautiful cake!!! Lots of work here with all the shells and pearls. This looks amazing - I love the ivory color and the luster dust adds to much to the shells! Fantastic!

Thanks for the nice comments. :D Chaptlps, I made all of the decorations out of vanilla candy wafers or white chocolate candy clay, except the wedding bands which are fondant. The bands are painted with gold luster dust and the pearl was painted with icing color mixed with almond extract and then dusted with luster dust. Oh, and I have uploaded the photos of the whole cake. Take a look in my folder. :)
