Mini Castle Fairy Cakes
Not baked for any particular reason, my girls enjoyed their fairy cakes, and I was surprised at how much I love the taste of fondant now that I use Toba's recipe! These cakes are about 3" in diameter, two layers of cake with white chocolate buttercream filling, top, and crumb coat. Covered in fondant, I used my new toy, the Wilton ejector set to make the flowers. And I discovered that my stringwork isn't as good as it used to be! One cake was done in white for possible use for an attendee of honor.
Castles are molded from white chocolate, painted with Nu Silver and vodka
These are beautiful!
castles on top are beautiful!Great topper! WOW how many did you make?
thank you! I did one 12x18x1" sheet cake, and using a biscuit cutter, got enough circles for 12 cakes.
