Im looking to get a similar effect to this on a pastillage  piece im working on at the minute. Could any one help? specifically the aged look in similar colours im looking at what technique to use/ what colours to use? many thanks Flex
How about using royal icing sprayed with pearl luster when dry. Spread the icing on the cake/ board ect, then when dry airbrush/ dust/ spray with pearl luster dust.
I used a piece of textured wall paper the other day to make both a texture sheet and a stencil.
textured wall paper, painted with confectioners glaze makes a good food safe embosser/ texture mat
