Here is my tip... This is for those who frost with whipped cream but use fondant or gumpaste decorations or accents.   We know how fondant and gumpaste melt with the moisture of whipped cream, so to stop the melting process I brush a light coat of melted chocolate on the back side of the decoration. For the grass, I would make shorter "pulls", not long spaghetti-like strands. For a more professional look, Invest in a set of tappit letters if your writing is not up to par. And definitely work on your buttercream smoothing skills. The cake is not bad at all!

I put mine in the microwave as Dayti suggested. It always works and once it cools down it dries faster.
You could try airbrushing it gold.

I love this stuff. I actually buy it at TJ Max or Marshalls and Home Goods. I think it's around $5-$6 I don't know if you have those store near you.
Add some cornstarch, as much as you can knead in. Add it in about 1/2 tsp increments
I glue the cake down on the board with melted chocolate. If your cake is cold it will harden and that baby ain't going anywhere!
