That's a great question. I'd love to know the answer to that too! I was thinking maybe it was floral wire but have been wanting to know for sure and (if it is) what gauge is the best to use.
AHHHHH! I didn't even consider that! I guess if the ball fits snug enough it shouldn't be a problem. I hadn't given any thought to the possibility of the whole boquet falling over! Maybe I'll add something to the bottom of the pot so it won't be so top heavy. Any suggestions on what I could use for a weight? Ok I'm feeling a little more confident now. I checked out that thread too so thanks for putting that in there. I'll play around with it a bit and let ya know...
Not a problem. I'll let you know how it turns out. It will be a few more days before I attempt it but I'll definitely get back to you
I saw that same one on CC but it just looks like once the boquet is assembled the whole part where the cupcakes are attached might fall out of the pot - and of course this would be my luck because this is the kind of stuff that happens to me! So I'm not really worried about the individual cupcakes falling off as I am about the whole boquet falling out of the pot. I guess I'll just give it a try and see if it's even going to be an issue. I'm such a big chicken...
OK, I've seen videos and read articles about how to assemble a cupcake boquet but I'm wondering how you keep the boquet from falling out of the pot. I haven't seen anyone use hot glue or sticky tape on the styrofoam. Will the weight of the cupcakes keep it in place?
