Hi all I'm back Long vacation and for the most part it was good! I can just imnagine all the good stuff I missed while I was gone but I think I can catch up..I think I Can I think I can Any one have any idea how to make a Cupcake Cake look like a stable? I really don't want to make a regular cake but my DD insists on a Stable Cake for her birthday. Plus I will be travelling to Orlando for her birthday so really won't have alot of time to do a full cake once I get there....

Hi, grandma! I am not sure about the recipe you are asking about but I only use butter. I find that the cupcakes stay moist but are a little denser..they don't just crumble when you bite into them. Which is what I prefer. I also have seen no difference in taste if eaten straight from the fridge. Though they do get denser ( I quess because the butter sets up again?) but then again around my house they never last more than a day

Wow I go away for a few weeks and not only do I miss about a zillionpages but a whole Forum now for cuppies!!!!!! I have a lot of catching up to do. I should be home the beginning of next week!!!!!!!!!
Just wanted to pop in and say hello. Been out of town (still am). Just enjoy some relaxing moments. Looks like I will have lots to catch up on when I get back!!! Hope everyone had a great 4th!!!!

Here is a version I found in The Cupcake CakeDoctor bookLemonade Angel Cakes1 box Angel Food cake mix3/4 cup water1/2 cup thawed frozen lemonade concentrateCreamy Lemonade Frosting16 lemon drops crushed1. Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 350. Line 24 cups and set aside.2.Place cake mix, water, lemonade concentrate in a large mixing bowl. Blend on low for 30 seconds. Stop machine and scrape down sides. Increase to medium speed and blend for 2 minutes....
