I was asked to do a 4 tier wedding cake. I have no idea what to charge. They will be 12", 10", 8" 6" stacked. They want white MMF with a colored MMF bow on top. Then they want real ribbon wrapped around the bottom of each layer. She also would like to have writing on the side from their invitations. Please give me ideas of what to charge. I have not given them any quotes yet. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

it seems like the going rate is $2-4 a serving. So figure out the servings and then you can build from there. it really depends on your area and how much the going rate it where you are.

Try calling bakeries and asking them.

I would go more to the high end if you have to write things from the invitaions and such. Your best bet would be to call bakeries in the area and ask them.
