Vanilla/yellow Moist Cake Scratch Recipe

I have a good recipe but it dry out quickly.

Does anyone have a good vanilla cake recipe the stays moist for a few days?

Toba Garrets recipe is quite good. I use it as the basis for my vanilla cognac cake.
