Went way outside my comfort zone on this one -- but what is a cake decorating mother to do for her now 5 year old princess loving daughter?

This thing had me in tears more than once -- but I kept plugging on and the final product was better than even I had imagined. I had people at the party place putting their kids in front of the cake and taking pictures! Whatever!

The princess was stunned and mommy is way tired....

Thanks for looking...a little bit about the cake which is inspired from a bunch of cakes from Cake Central and various cake artists. The hill is styrofoam covered in white fondant and painted. The turrets are paper towel holders, topped with cake cones and covered in white fondant -- then a sugar cones was covered in white fondant and dusted pink and white sparkle. The cake is a 9 inch square 6.6 inches tall (white chocolate cake with buttercream filling) and the top layer is a 6 inch round 4 inches tall (same cake flavors) -- accents are done in buttercream. Sugar cubes as the edging on the castle....whew....

Your cake is exquisite. I am planning on doing a similar cake for my daughter's birthday. She is turning 19!!! icon_surprised.gif Once a princess, always a princess, I guess I am only doing the actual cake and the princesses will be looking out the windows of the turrets.
