what I understand is the extender will make more of the recipe and the cake doctor "improves" the recipe and they work great together...I have got to try it!!!!!

Can anyone please give me the recipes for both? I would like to try them together because I always have to make an extra box I'm usually short by just a little.

Thanks in advance
Jackie

Do you add one extender to each box mix or do you use it to two recipes? Thanks keli

I usually use 1 1/2 boxes of mix for a 9 x 13, but if I use the cake mix extender I only use one box of mix and get a better tasting cake.

Also, if you use the Cake Mix Doctor, make the chocolate covered cherry cake..... so easy to make a NUMMY!

How many cups of batter does your cake mix recipes yield - w/o the extender and how many cups of batter does the extender yield?

Has anybody ever measured it? (the extender)

W/o the extender I beleive most batters yeild 5-6 cups of batter. Never measured w/the extender though. But I would guess an additional 2-3 cups of batter.
