3-D Cake Question

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what they do about the hollow
center of 3D cake, caused by the heating core?

When you use a heating core treatit like its a cake pan. grease and flour and fill with batter. When the cake is removed and cooled you put it back in the center of the cake.
