The first fondant batch would not come out and came apart. The second batch had much more crisco and corn starch, but still wouldn't come out. Upon freezing, they popped out though. Now I'm hoping they will dry out. They're a bit sticky now. I'm trying another batch without freezing today.

Boyd, yes that's what I was afraid of with the freezing - gooification. Try adding some gum tex to your fondant. I really did not have a problem removing my cherubs. I use a toothpick to help me remove it. The only one that broke was the one that I tried to remove two hours after I set it in.

Make sure you really jam it in to if you have air pockets they are more Fragile.

Cherub Update: Yes, they are only slightly sticky. Usable I'd say. The white chocolate ones are fine as well. I could use either one. I"m going to post a new topic on "gluing" white chocolate to fondant. Please post any ideas there. I'll have to decide today which ones to go with.

If they are sticky you can dust them with your 50/50 mix..and when they dry...dust them off lightly with a brush...
