My daughter's birthday is the 23rd and I have been so busy that I haven't even started planning her party yet. icon_redface.gificon_redface.gif Her favorite cartoons are Boobah, Backyardigans, and Alice in Wonderland. Since Alice is the only one that I feel like I would be able to reasonable accomplish. I think that this is what we are going to go with. But now I can't come up with ideas for her cake. I would like to do the rabbit, but since the cartoon is so old, I can not find anything on it anymore. icon_confused.gificon_twisted.gif

OK, I will stop rambling... I am very stressed. Her party is still not planned and it is two weeks away! icon_eek.gif HELP!!!! icon_cry.gif

Hello,
I would just go onto Yahoo and look in the image search for Alice in Wonderland. If you put in disney alice in wonderland you get quite a few scenes from the movie. You could use them to get an edible image or make a FBCT.
HTH,
Heather

What type of cake are you wanting to make? I had several ideas:

The mushroom with the caterpillar

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

The playing cards

A clock face and the white rabbit

Here are a couple of links to coloring pages if you are planning to do a BCT.

http://disney.go.com/magicartist/coloring/alice/index.html
http://lnx.ginevra2000.it/Disney/color_alice.htm
http://www.coloring-book.info/coloring/coloring_page.php?id=8

Some of the pictures on the sites are duplicates, but maybe you can find one you like.

Or, you may do a doll cake and decorate the dress as alice's dress.
Also, I think the cheshire cat is the coolest character ever!!!! NOt sure how to do that though, just sharing my personal opinion icon_lol.gif

You guys are wonderful! Thank you!!!

I have thought of making the cheshire cat from the stand up lamb pan, but not quite sure how to go about doing that. I will probably do a BCT!

Thanks again guys! icon_smile.gif

I was going to suggest the same website ShelbysYummys suggested, the "birthdaypartyideas".
If you go to kids parties and then scroll to the bottom and click on "all other parties not mentioned" an Alice and Wonderland party comes up on that page. They did a Barbie doll cake decorated to look like Alice with the blue dress and pinafore. You'll find cool ideas there.

What a cool party theme.
Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I think this cake could easily be adjusted to turn it into the Cheshire Cat. http://www.shavkin.com/tamidem.html

Was just looking at another site that had several 'Alice in Wonderland', cakes http://www.wilton.com/dolls/doll_section/viewentries.asp?catid=1
go to August Fictional Characters, Alice page 1, Queen of Hearts page 6, Alice & Queen of Hearts page 10, Alice on Toadstool page 16.

oh by the way ..I have been wanting to this theme for my daughters birthday since she was one and shes turning 4 next month and I thought that if i ever did this I would try to do a mad hatter cake like the one on colette book cakes to dream on ......
