Ok this is the second time I have attmepted MMF and its not working out. I followed the directions on this sight which were great and it is a hard crumbly mess. What can I do to help. Should I put it in the microwave for a few seconds. I tried adding glycerine like I do to my bought fondant. Please help I really want to learn to use this stuff.

some possible causes could be too much sugar- I've read a lot of people end up using less than stated in the recipe-I also use less sugar. Adding the sugar too quickly can make it crumbly too..HTH

Thanks for asking this! I'm new and afraid, lol. I don't know much about MMF.

I am very new at using the MMF and haven't had any trouble with it at all. Even if it looks terrible when I take it out of my KA, I just put a bunch of crisco on my hands and need away - then it looks great and works just fine!

Sounds like what I went through this AM with two batches. As Olana11 stated about adding the sugar too quick I think thta is what happened with my batches, never thought of it before. It must bc I am tired. Good Luck
