I have been tasked with making a wedding cake next week which has about 10 sugar roses on it.. see pic!!! I've bought a couple of different shades in the sugarflair dust but they're all coming out too corally looking when on the icing.. can anyone help? Also if you have any advise on how to make the flowers look as good as these it would be much appreciated!! Xthe roses are a deep pink colour
To me the ones on the left look different hues of mauve. I think the others look more pink due to lighting, by the angle of the top-right rose.
