Yah, sequins or dragee.  In some states (especially CA) they are illegal due to the matalic covering on them.  You can make your own by taking tiny bits of fondant and rolling them into a ball, allowing them to dry on a thick stack of paper towels, then spray w/gold food coloring or mix in a jar of gold petal dust.

I saw similar at Joann Fabrics.  They are called cake sequins.
