For the first time, I am making a wedding cake.  My concern is this cake will be outside in the shade, but never the less, outside.  The bride requested strawberry and whipped cream filling OR a blueberry lemon curd filling.  I was thinking of just doing it all swiss meringue buttercream with fresh strawberries inside.  I am afraid of the other filling will go bad.  Does anyone have any thoughts regarding this matter?  If so, kindly tell me and if you don't mind sharing a recipe, that would be helpful.

My other question is, the bride wants blue hydrangea flowers on the cake.  I am aware that type of flower is not edible, but there are so many people who put flowers on cakes.  I also would put some parchment down on the cake and maybe only two leaves with the flowers on top tier.  Any suggestions?
